Awesome little diner a friend recommended. 1st time here. Very small town decor on the inside great friendly service. They even put a set of reader glasses on every table to help people read the menu. Very cool!!! I tried the home made corn beef hash and a huge pancake. Both were amazing. This diner was a great find. If your in the neighborhood I highly recommend trying.

Needed a good ol' diner lunch out in the Valley, and Donna's was the ticket. Hearty platters, seasoned middle-aged waitresses, and countrified decor was on the menu. Really not much else to report. They don't try to be anything other than what they are. A greasy spoon that caters to regular folk (mostly seniors), who aren't looking for anything fancy and/or needing a specialized menu for restrictive, or mindful, dietary reasons. I love places where you know exactly what to expect. And lordy do they ever feed ya...
Note to the delusional 1-2 star reviewers who rip this place for their prices: everything you see in my pictures (for a table of four), including the milkshake, was $42.65 before tip. $30 for one person? Puh-leeeze... -

Was in town with my sons and found this place just driving down Sprague. Friendly wait staff greeted us upon entering. Sat down and waters filled promptly. Started off with a huge warm tasty cinnamon roll. A little heavy on the raisins but very good.
Kids meals are pretty darn cheap and very filling. I had biscuits and gravy with bacon and eggs/potatoes. Gravy was good not great. Bacon was center cut so thick and tasty. Eggs are eggs and the potatoes were not good. Like an after thought. To thick and not cooked long enough.
Our server was very nice and helpful. Always refilling waters or pre bussing the dirty dishes.
Breakfast for me, 2 kids and a huge cinnamon roll appetizer $31 -

Tried breakfast this morning, seat yourself and immediately got a menu, coffee and water but was ignored afterwards for 10/15 minutes while server was commiserating with folks that came in after me. Regulars apparently get great service.
Gee, I did get to order. Had a western omelette with bacon, toast and potatoes, potatoes were nearly cold (not hot or even warm). Omelette was great, properly cooked and served hot and fresh. Bacon was ok. With coffee, orange juice and tip, $30 for one person. Was a good $10 breakfast but nowhere near a $30 breakfast!!
This was definitely not the droid I was looking for!!!

Donnas diner has very homey ambiance, like going to grandmas house for breakfast.
Wonderful huge ham & cheese omelette, hubs had corned beef hash with perfectly poached eggs and the taters are fantastic.
Great service, we will be back when we are in town again.
Thanks for a nice experience
